How to eliminate an unusual noise when steering your Qashqai.

Have you ever heard an annoying "click" when steering your Nissan Qashqai? Let's see how to resolve it: check the steering column between the pedals. Remove the cover using a screwdriver or a coin to take out the plastic screws holding the cover in place, then you will need a 16 mm socket to ensure it is properly tightened. Next, look inside for a plastic cap, which may have dried out over time. Lubricate it with spray grease (not silicone) to resolve the noise. To help the spray grease flow better, use the tip of the screwdriver. Now open the bonnet and check another potential noise source; the top of the shock absorber, where the nut may become loose; check both the right and left sides. Get underneath the car from under the front wheel. There is a bolt securing the car from underneath the front wishbone, but while you are there, inspect all the bolts underneath the subframe of the car. Finally, check the steering box; in the video, we see the gaiter, but this is the last thing to address if the previous checks do not resolve the issue.
