How to Eliminate Creaking from the Front Suspension

If you have heard an annoying creaking noise when driving over bumps and dips in your Nissan Qashqai, this guide is for you: remove the wheel and locate the stabiliser bar (or anti-roll bar). The noise comes from a bush rubbing against the bar. Remove the rubber bush and lubricate it with silicone grease. Unfortunately, using spray grease does not permanently solve the problem. You need to disassemble it. Remove the bolt on the front shock absorber using an 18 mm spanner. The vehicle must be securely supported on axle stands, as you need to get underneath. Remove another bolt, highlighted in the video, which is 16 mm, to take out the bush that is making noise with the anti-roll bar. Apply silicone grease to this bush. Once lubricated, reassemble it with the cut part facing forward (as it was when removed). Refit the bracket that held the piece, along with its bolts. Refit the stabiliser link and then reattach the wheel.
