How to Replace the Timing Chain of the Nissan X-Trail?

To replace the timing chain, first loosen the screws that secure the valve cover and those that secure the right front wheel, so that both components can be removed from their housing. Once the wheel is removed, also take off the inner cover of the wheel arch to access the chain tensioner located at the rear: by loosening the screws that secure it, you can reduce the tension of the chain itself, which will be removed from its housing and replaced with a new one.
