In this video, we will see how to replace the brake pads of our Nissan Qashqai J10. To replace them, first, we need to lift the car or the brake wheel that needs to be replaced. After that, using a 21 wheel key, unscrew all the tire bolts and remove the tire. Once removed, use a flathead screwdriver to open the brake caliper by inserting the screwdriver into the appropriate holes. At this point, use a 17 socket wrench and a 14 wrench to unscrew the pad retaining bolts. Once the bolts are unscrewed, remove the pad block. Once removed, remove the pads with the help of a flathead screwdriver. At this point, insert the new pads. It is recommended to clean the pad block with a brush and brake cleaner. Now, reposition the pad block and tighten the bolts with the previously used tools to unscrew them. Once tightened correctly, reposition the wheel and tighten the bolts. At this point, the procedure is complete.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
