How to Replace the Brake Pads on a Nissan Qashqai

In this video, learn how to replace the brake pads on your Nissan Qashqai J10. First, lift the car or the wheel of the brake that needs replacing. Then, using a 21mm wheel socket, unscrew all the bolts of the tyre and remove the tyre. Once removed, use a flat screwdriver to open the brake caliper by inserting the screwdriver into the appropriate holes. Next, use a 17mm socket and a 14mm spanner to unscrew the retaining bolts of the pad. Once the bolts are unscrewed, remove the pad block, and then remove the pads with the help of a flat screwdriver. Now, insert the new pads, and it is advisable to clean the pad block with a brush and brake cleaner. Reposition the pad block and re-tighten the bolts with the tools previously used to unscrew them. Once tightened correctly, reposition the wheel and screw in the bolts. At this point, the procedure is complete.
