As shown in this tutorial, replacing the instrument cluster bulbs on a Nissan Frontier is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then unscrew the screw above the hood release lever, the screw on the opposite side, and the two screws on the top edge of the cluster. Next, separate the entire plastic cover, unscrew the screws securing the cluster itself, and detach it from the dashboard. To remove a bulb, simply turn it slightly counterclockwise, and follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.
