How do you replace the timing belt in the Opel Astra J 1.7 CDTI?

The timing belt, just like many other spare parts, is a consumable material and therefore has a predetermined lifespan. At every specified mileage or elapsed time, it must be replaced, following the manufacturer's instructions of the aforementioned car. The procedure is common, meaning the protective cover is removed, the tensioner is loosened, and the belt is removed from its seat using a lever. After that, the new belt is installed, following carefully the same path as the old belt between the pulleys, the tensioner is adjusted, and the cover is closed.
