How to replace the timing belt of the Opel Astra?

To replace the timing belt of the Opel Astra, open the car's bonnet and remove the inner cover of the front right wheel: once this is removed, you will locate the belt on the side of the engine block. By loosening the nut that secures the tensioner pulley, you will be able to remove it, reducing the tension on the belt: it can then be removed from the corresponding pulleys, allowing you to reinstall it under tension by fitting the pulley. After installation, check that everything functions correctly.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
