Replacement of the steering tie rod head of the Opel Astra G.

To replace the steering tie rod head of the Opel Astra, we put the car on a lifting platform and raise it in order to work on the wheel. We remove the wheel, using a 19mm socket mounted on an pneumatic wrench we unscrew the nut of the tie rod head, with a special clamp we remove the pin of the head from its housing. Using a 22mm fixed wrench, we slightly loosen the lock nut of the tie rod and unscrew it to remove it. We screw in the tie rod, insert the pin of the head into its seat and lock it with its nut. Tighten the lock nut of the tie rod, put the wheel back on and lower the car.
