The diagnostic socket or OBD socket on an Opel Mokka vehicle produced from 2012 to 2019 is located inside the passenger compartment. Specifically, the socket is mounted under the dashboard on the driver's side to facilitate access during vehicle reset and checking operations, using a diagnostic computer. The color of the socket is black with a yellow border so that it is easily recognizable compared to other sockets under the dashboard, generally it is not covered by a protective cover but on some vehicles there may be one. Its use became mandatory starting from the 2000s.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
