Let's see how to replace the stabiliser link of the Opel Zafira B: start by loosening the nuts of the front wheel on the side you are working on, then lift the front of the car and place it on two sturdy axle stands. Remove the wheel. Spray some WD-40 on the link connections; let it sit for a few minutes and clean the threads with a wire brush. Hold the nut with a 19 mm spanner and unscrew it with a ratchet and a 19 mm socket. Remove the nut and washer. Repeat the same operation on the nut that secures the link to the shock absorber arm. Remove the old link. You can find the new one from TRW on auto-doc.it with EAN code 3322937298426 at a price of £11.49 each plus £9.95 for shipping. Check the condition of the bushes before fitting the new link; clean the mounting seats well with a wire brush and WD-40, then position the new link (it is symmetrical, so there is no specific mounting direction). Screw on the new nuts, hold the threaded pin, and tighten the nut to 55 Nm on both sides. Apply a thin layer of copper grease to the threads of the new nuts to prevent them from seizing. Lower the car, tighten the wheel, and check that everything is in order.
