How to change the cabin air filter in the Opel Corsa F

To replace the cabin air filter on the Opel Corsa F, slide the passenger seat all the way back and work in the footwell on the passenger side, near the lower area by the centre tunnel. Turn off the ignition and ventilation to prevent the air conditioning motor from operating while the filter is removed. Locate the small trim panel under/next to the glove compartment: if it is secured with screws, unscrew them; if it is clipped, carefully unclip it without forcing the clips. Once the area is clear, reach the filter housing cover and open it by acting on the tab/clip. Extract the old filter by pulling it out with controlled movement, taking care not to spill dust and debris into the housing. Before inserting the new filter, check the installation direction indicated by the airflow arrow (AIR FLOW) and orient it the same way as the previous one to ensure proper airflow and reduce noise or vibrations. Insert the new filter until it is fully seated, close the cover ensuring the clip engages correctly, and reattach the trim panel. At the end of the job, turn on the ventilation in the Opel Corsa F and check that air flows regularly from the vents and that there are no unusual noises due to a poorly inserted filter or improperly closed cover.
