How to Polish Dull and Yellowed Headlights

Polishing dull and yellowed headlights can be done by hand without electric tools. First, wash and dry the headlight.

Start with 500 grit sandpaper to remove the dull layer and imperfections. Then switch to wet 2000 grit sandpaper to smooth and polish the surface.

Dry with a clean cloth. For the final stage, use a soft cloth or cotton wool with a polishing product (e.g., fine abrasive paste).

Polish in circular motions until the headlight becomes bright and clear. The result is a lens like new, without needing to replace the part.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
