To replace the engine oil in an Opel Grandland X, warm the engine to a moderate temperature and then turn it off. Position the vehicle on a flat surface and safely lift it, removing any lower engine protection. After placing a container under the oil sump, unscrew the drain plug and allow the used lubricant to drain completely.

Once drained, refit the plug and then open the filler cap in the engine compartment; gradually introduce new oil, adhering to the specifications and quantity indicated for the engine. Finally, briefly start the engine, check for leaks, and after turning it off and waiting a few minutes, check the oil level, adjusting if necessary.
