How to replace the battery on the Opel Corsa D

Let's see how to replace the battery on the Opel Corsa D: open the bonnet, disconnect the old battery, starting with the negative terminal (black). Above the positive terminal is the fuse box: loosen the nut on the positive terminal, slightly lift the box, and unclip the side hooks (be careful as they can break easily); using a 13 mm socket and extension, remove the bolt of the bracket that secures the battery.

Lift the battery, taking care not to damage the fuse box. Insert the new battery (with the positive terminal at the back, towards the engine); connect the positive terminal and reattach the fuse box. Refit the bracket and connect the negative terminal with a 10 mm socket.
