Gear Knob Replacement on Opel Corsa

Is the gear knob on your Opel Corsa broken? Here’s how to remove the knob from the gear stick. Disconnect any electrical connectors, grasp the knob with your hands and twist it left and right until it comes off the gear stick. Use a plastic trim tool to detach the leather gaiter frame. Fit the new leather gaiter with clips, then take the new knob and push it onto the gear stick in the centre console, tightening it until it is secure. Replace the leather gaiter if it is also damaged. Check the installation of all parts.
