After several months or years of use, the smart key for your Opel Astra H (2004-2010) may suddenly stop working due to a completely flat battery. In this case, you need to replace it with a new battery, and here’s how to do it. First, press the button on the top of the cover to release the physical emergency key. Next, remove the rear cover with your hands and replace the old battery with a new one (model CR 2032). Finally, reattach the rear cover.
