How to Replace the Heater Matrix in an Opel Corsa C

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa C - Years 2000-2006

If the cabin windows tend to mist up easily and the carpet on the passenger side is wet, the heater matrix may be broken. Generally, replacing this matrix requires removing the dashboard, but for this model, only a few elements need to be removed. Start by draining the coolant from the radiator drain plug. Then, unscrew the fastening screws of the central tunnel cover, disconnect the handbrake gaiter, and pull back the cover. Next, remove the plastic cover in front of the tunnel on the passenger side, then take out the glove compartment and the air duct. At this point, you will have access to the heater matrix and can proceed with the replacement by unclipping the fastening clips of the ducts and removing it from its location. During reassembly, pay particular attention to the seating of the seals.
