Replacing Your Car's Bearings

Typically, changing the bearings of your car is not a task you do yourself, and you rely on your trusted mechanic. However, if you want to save some money, DIY is not impossible. This guide shows you how to do it. The bearings, specifically, are spherical and relate to the car's suspension, located on the drum or also called brake disc, which helps reduce friction when the vehicle is in motion. When starting the replacement, loosen and then remove the wheel bolts, lifting the wheel with a jack. Next, unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, and also remove the brake caliper using a socket or screwdriver. Once the caliper is removed, you must also take off the dust cover, also known as the cap.
