To change the engine oil of a Peugeot XP 400 GT, start by making sure the engine is cold. Lift the motorcycle with a central or side stand to ensure stability. Find the oil drain plug and place a collection container underneath it. Unscrew the plug and let the used oil drain completely. Once drained, screw the plug back in. Find the oil fill cap on the side of the engine and remove it. Using a funnel, pour the new oil into the reservoir following the owner's manual specifications for the correct type and quantity. Once the oil is added, screw the fill cap back on. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to evenly distribute the new oil. Turn off the engine and check the oil level with the dipstick. Add oil if necessary to bring the level to the correct point. Finally, clean up any oil spills and make sure all caps are securely tightened.
