To change the engine oil of a Yamaha T Max, start by making sure the engine is cold. Lift the motorcycle onto a central or side stand to stabilize it. Find the oil drain plug, usually located on the bottom side of the engine. Place a container under the plug to collect the used oil. Unscrew the plug and let the oil drain completely. Once the oil is fully drained, unscrew and remove the oil filter plug, if present. Let any remaining oil residue drain completely. Clean the surrounding area to remove dirt and residue. Install a new oil drain plug and tighten it securely. Pour new oil into the oil compartment, being careful not to exceed the recommended capacity. Check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary. Once completed, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to evenly distribute the oil. Finally, check the oil level again and make sure it is correct.
