If the battery of your Peugeot Geopolis 250 has collapsed, not only will the scooter not start, but you also won't be able to open the seat, as the French manufacturer has not included a manual release or a 12V socket. Here’s a trick to solve this annoying problem. Remove the front shield by unscrewing the three screws, thus freeing the ignition lock. Strip a red wire with a knife and bridge it with a battery using a negative terminal of your choice. This will provide power to the ignition and at least allow you to open the seat.
