Replacing the Variator Rollers on a Peugeot Kisbee

Place the scooter on the stand and first unscrew the bolts securing the cover of the casing. Remove the cover by pulling it by hand and shaking it slightly (be cautious).

Loosen the central bolt of the shaft, possibly fitting a locking bracket to prevent the variator from rotating. Remove the variator and extract it (after moving the belt).

Open the variator from the rear cover and replace the rollers. Nothing easier! Proceed in reverse until fully reassembled, closing the casing with the cover.

To remove the rear wheel of the GasGas EC 250, first dismantle the chain by removing it from the sprocket attached to the rear wheel. Once the chain is removed, you can unscrew the nut that secures the rear wheel spindle and holds it to the swingarm. When the securing spindle is removed, you can completely take out the wheel from its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After replacement, refit the securing spindle and reposition the chain around the sprocket.
