How to update the maps of a Stellantis brand car
Model: Peugeot Peugeot Various
In this video, we can see how to update the maps of a vehicle from the Stellantis brand, specifically Citroen or Peugeot. First, we need to check which SMEG system is installed in our vehicle, then prepare the USB key for the update, and finally update the system. Next, we check the firmware version on our car by clicking on the two gears on the top right side for more than 5 seconds, which will display the SMEG version. Then we download the update, insert a USB key of at least 8 GB into our PC, and format it in FAT32. To find the complete update file, we recommend visiting the mega.nz website: download all the folders within the file and transfer them to the USB key. In the generator, you need to enter the chassis code. The YouTuber then provides instructions on how to generate a 16-digit code based on the type of SMEG we have and take a picture of it with our smartphone. Now we install the maps: both USB ports must be free; insert the USB key into one of them, start the engine, and the update will start automatically, taking several minutes. As for the maps, we can choose which countries to update, and to do this, it asks for the code we generated earlier, which also takes a long time.
