In this video, we can see how to remove the radio from the dashboard of the Peugeot 308. The same procedure is also valid for the Peugeot 408: first, we remove the mat located in the glove compartment at the base of the radio column. Behind it, there is a screw that we will remove, allowing us to remove the air conditioning control panel. Once this is removed, we will have access to two screws that we can remove, allowing us to remove the second glove compartment located right under the radio. After that, we can insert either the four small screwdrivers shown in the video or the appropriate keys that can be found, for example, on eBay with the code 395599224079 at a price of 24.13 euros, with free delivery. We remove the device and disconnect the rear electrical plugs.
