How to repair the Peugeot 3008 fan that is not working

In this video, we will see how to behave when the cabin fan of our Peugeot 3008 is not working: the most common causes are the speed regulator or a faulty electrical contact. We can access the regulator without removing the glove compartment, by lying on the passenger side and removing the lower cover under the dashboard: this way we can see the regulator. For greater accessibility, however, it is better to remove the glove compartment. Check the wiring, by setting the fan to maximum speed and gently moving the connector cables of the regulator to see if the fan restarts (if so, it is a false contact); check that the connector pins are not oxidized or damaged. Replace the speed regulator by disconnecting the electrical connector, removing the two torx screws that secure the regulator, installing the new one and reconnecting the connector. The functionality test consists of the fan working at all speeds.
