Let's see what modifications need to be made to a Peugeot Partner to transport a large motorcycle: we start by removing the central seat, then we obtain a plywood panel, which we will cover with carpet for aesthetic reasons. Underneath, we will place wooden supports to level the loading floor. The usable length is over 2.10 m, plus extra space near the gearbox. This way, the motorcycle is transported lengthwise, with the front wheel between the seats, and it's possible to keep a passenger on board. It is a low-cost and completely reversible operation. If you want to improve the setup further, we recommend floor anchors for straps and an adjustable wooden/metal wheel chock for the front wheel. It's better to use marine plywood (15/18 mm thickness), which is sturdier than regular plywood.
