How to Reset the Service Light on a Peugeot 508

When the service warning light illuminates on the instrument cluster display, it means it’s time for maintenance; after performing the regular maintenance, including the oil and filter replacement, you can proceed with resetting the light on the instrument cluster; this is a manual procedure that does not require diagnostic tools; immediately press the "000" button located at the bottom right, just below the central display of the instrument cluster; with the ignition off, press this button and, while holding it down, turn on the ignition without starting the engine and wait for the countdown to start on the display.
