How to remove the heating fan on the 2016 Peugeot 5008

The heating fan on the first generation Peugeot 5008 is located behind the dashboard, on the passenger side. To remove it, you need to disassemble part of the dashboard: this is not a beginner's task. Start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery, remove the glove compartment by opening it and pressing the two side clips. Access the cabin filter located under the glove compartment. Remove the cover and the filter. Locate the fan motor, which is a black cylinder with a blade fan, recessed in the air tunnel. Disconnect the electrical connector, unscrew the 3 Torx screws securing the motor, and extract the fan motor downwards, turning it slightly.
