How to Remove the Battery from a Peugeot 5008

This video does not show how to remove the battery from a Peugeot 5008, but it helps us understand whether it's worth getting our hands dirty to do it ourselves, or if it's better to pay someone else to do it: we need to remove the air filter by unscrewing the screws that hold the cover, and then disconnect the inlet hose. The battery is positioned quite far back in the bonnet: remove the plastic cover and take out the two bolts found at the front of the battery, under the cover. After this, remove the fuses located on the battery by detaching the two fastenings at the front and back. Next, take off the cover from the positive terminal, which is easily accessible, while the negative terminal (also covered) is located much deeper under the bonnet; it can be reached with a spanner, not by hand. This job will take about 40 minutes, provided there are no complications.
