How to Remove the Wipers

Detailed instructions - Open the bonnet, remove the nut from the wiper arm (a 16 mm socket is used in this video). Be aware that in many cases, a puller will be needed for the wiper arm. Use the wiper arm puller to remove it; you will notice that the wiper arm has detached due to a loud noise it generates. Then, remove the other wiper in the same way. Now, remove the plastic cover by pressing the two clips and lifting upwards, repeating the process for both parts. After that, remove the lower trim of the windscreen. Disconnect the wiper motor plug using two 10 mm spanners. The wiper mechanism will not come away easily, so you will need to wiggle it a bit or apply light force. Now, all that’s left is to remove the wiper base.
