Let’s see how to reset the AdBlue warning light without having to restart the engine. We will operate by locating the ECM using our tablet, reading the error from the EOBD port. From the diagnostics, we read error P20, which indicates a service action on the emissions control circuit. Reinitialize the system by pressing "OK" with the engine off. Now turn off the ignition as well. Wait about ten seconds, then you can turn the ignition back on. This should resolve the issue, but check the instrument panel, and indeed the AdBlue warning light is off, and the message indicating only 100 miles of range has disappeared. You can also clear the error by entering the AdBlue menu and resetting it from there.
