Let's see how to replace the factory-installed car radio in the Peugeot 206 with a Pioneer brand model. Unlock the old device by inserting two rigid rods of 1.5/2mm into the holes on the sides and pull towards you to remove it. Disconnect the antenna plug and the two electrical connectors. Take the new device and remove the front panel, slide the mounting bracket and insert it into the dashboard compartment. Use a screwdriver to fold the metal tabs inside to lock it. Get an adapter to connect the factory electrical cables to the ISO socket of the new car radio and connect the antenna plug to its socket. Insert the device into the bracket until it locks. The mounting kit includes two extraction keys that we should keep in case we need to remove the device in the future. Now install the plastic frame and finally the front panel. Turn on the car to check for proper functioning.
