Replacing the Radio in a Peugeot 206

Let's see how to replace the standard radio in the Peugeot 206 with a Pioneer model. Unlock the old unit by inserting two rigid rods of 1.5/2mm into the holes on the sides and pull towards you to remove it. Disconnect the antenna plug and the two electrical connectors. Take the new unit and remove the front panel, slide the mounting cage into the dashboard slot. Using a screwdriver, bend the metal tabs inside to secure it. Obtain an adapter to connect the standard electrical wires to the ISO plug of the new radio and connect the antenna plug. Insert the unit into the cage until it locks in place. The installation kit includes two extraction keys that you should keep in case you need to remove the unit in the future. Now, fit the plastic trim and finally the front panel. Start the car to check that it functions correctly.
