The replacement of the engine oil and the relative filter is definitely one of the simplest maintenance operations to carry out do-it-yourself but it is important to be careful to properly dispose of the used oil and the old filter cartridge; having said this, place the car on special platforms for cars in order to lift it and have more room for maneuver; the oil pan is moved from the passenger side and the drain plug must therefore be removed to allow the exhausted oil to drain; at this point, access the engine compartment and intercept the position of the filter which is located immediately under the turbine: in order to replace it, it is advisable to remove the air conveyance ducts; once the cartridge has been replaced, fill the engine with new oil until the maximum level is reached.

How to reset the service in the Opel Antara?

As we can see in this tutorial, resetting the service in the Opel Antara is an extremely simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, of course, we must have completed all the planned maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel, not the engine. At this point, we release the accelerator and press it 3 consecutive times, always all the way. We then restart the panel to verify that the procedure has been carried out correctly.
