To change the engine oil and filter in a Peugeot 207, let the engine run for a few minutes to slightly warm the lubricant and facilitate draining. Then, switch off the vehicle and lift it securely.

Place a container under the sump and remove the drain plug to completely empty the used oil. Once draining is complete, locate the oil filter and remove it. Before installing the new component, apply a bit of new oil to the gasket to ensure a proper seal.

Then, fit the new filter, replace the drain plug, and fill the engine with new oil through the upper filler neck, using the specified amount.

Finish the job by starting the engine and checking for any leaks, then verify the oil level and top up if necessary.
