To change the battery of a Piaggio Beverly, first lift the seat of the scooter to access the battery compartment. Once the seat is open, locate the battery, usually located under the seat itself. Before proceeding, make sure the scooter is turned off and the key switch is in the "off" position. Disconnect the negative (-) connector and then the positive (+) connector of the battery using an appropriate key or screwdriver. Be careful not to short circuit with metallic tools. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the same type and size. Make sure to properly position the new battery in the compartment and reconnect the connectors, connecting the positive (+) one first and then the negative (-) one. Verify that the connectors are securely connected and that there are no damaged cables. Close the seat and turn on the scooter to ensure that the new battery is functioning properly.
