Today, you will learn how to replace the speedometer cable on a Vespa PK 50. Before starting the replacement, remove the front wheel. After removing the wheel, undo the bolt using an 8 mm spanner located under the central joint. Once the bolt is removed, pull out the lower cable and unscrew the screws located under the headlamp dome. Move the headlamp dome and disconnect the speedometer cable along with the connector for the electrical connection by pressing the side tab. Pull the cable from the top of the scooter; spray the new cable with silicone spray and insert it from the top of the fork, sliding it down to the wheel. Insert the electrical cable inside the outer cable and reattach the headlamp dome. Tighten the cable locking bolt and reinstall the wheel.
