In this video, we will see how to solve the wheel locking issue on the Piaggio MP3. Many owners, especially of the 2012 models, experience difficulties in locking/unlocking the front wheels, often due to rust or water ingress in the locking mechanism, or a faulty sensor that will need replacing. A quick solution, without complex disassembly, involves using a thin flat screwdriver to remove the black plastic cap near the locking mechanism, as shown in the video. Then adjust the internal screw by inserting the screwdriver into the exposed hole and turning the screw a full turn clockwise or counterclockwise (try both directions). This frees the mechanism stuck by rust. Now try to unlock the wheels using the control on the handlebars: if it works, reposition the black cap. If the problem persists, the fault may be with the blue sensor located under the mechanism, which we may need to replace. In any case, apply grease to the screw to prevent future rust.
