To replace the battery on a Piaggio MP3, open the under-seat compartment using the appropriate key and lift the seat. On the side of the compartment, there will be a protrusion covered by a plastic panel: this panel can be removed by loosening the screws at its base. Once the cover is removed, disconnect the cables connected to the battery and take it out of its housing, replacing it with a new spare part. After installing the new battery, you can reinsert the plastic cover and close the under-seat compartment.
