This guide provides the necessary instructions for replacing the gearbox oil of the Piaggio Mp3 500 scooter. First, place the scooter on its central stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the gearbox cover, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the fill screw to let the oil flow out more quickly. At this point, top up with new gearbox oil of the correct viscosity (as indicated in the scooter's user and maintenance manual)!
