In this guide, we will show you how to remove and replace the battery on the Piaggio Vespa 50 LX and Vespa 50 S. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start by removing the plastic cover located in the centre of the floorboard; then, unscrew the two screws of the central battery bracket, disconnecting the two terminals (positive and negative) to remove it from its compartment, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type and the same amperage; position the battery in the compartment and make the electrical connection!
