In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Piaggio Vespa 125 Primavera scooter, an extremely simple and quick operation, to be carried out every 12 months. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we place a container underneath the scooter, locate the drain hole cap and unscrew it using a 23mm wrench. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, remove the secondary filter and clean it from any dirt residue. At this point, all that's left to do is unscrew the main filter, tighten the replacement, reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the top hole.

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
