First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we position a container underneath the scooter, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a socket wrench. Next, we also unscrew the cap of the filter housing, clean it from any possible dirt residue, and let the oil contained in the system drain out. At this point, we reassemble everything and pour the new oil through the appropriate hole.

Today we will see, in this short and simple guide, how to replace the transmission oil of the Piaggio Vespa Px 125, but also of the Lml Star 125 2-stroke. First of all we put the central stand and we start to unscrew the oil vent bolt of the transmission, which we find on the right side casing; to do this we use a 10 mm socket wrench, letting the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler screw, in order to let the oil flow more quickly; then we finally top up, following the video to the end!
