First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we locate the drain hole cap and unscrew it using a socket wrench. We then remove the secondary filter, clean it from any dirt residue, and let all the oil contained in the system drain out. At this point, we can unscrew the main filter, tighten the replacement, reassemble everything, and pour the necessary amount of oil through the appropriate hole.

How do you replace the oil pump of the Gilera Runner 50?

In order to replace the oil pump of the Gilera Runner 50, you need to loosen the screws that fix the panels located on the left rear side of the motorcycle: under them there will be the transmission case, which must be removed in order to locate the oil pump on the left side of the clutch. Loosening the screws that fix it to its housing and disconnecting the appropriate tubes, it will be possible to remove it from its housing and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, you can reposition the new spare part, mounting all the removed components.
