How to remove the steering wheel of a Porsche Boxster

Model: Porsche Boxster MK 1, 986 - Years 1996-2004

Before starting, we will have to sit in the driver's seat of our Porsche Boxster. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the airbag to the steering wheel. Next, we will have to disconnect the airbag electrical connector, and then remove it from the steering wheel. By doing so, we will have discovered the nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column. At this point we will have to unscrew and remove the nut in question, to then disengage and remove the steering wheel from the steering column. When we have completed this step, successfully disassembled the steering wheel of our Porsche Boxster.
