How to Open the Hood of a Porsche Boxster with a Dead Battery

Before you begin, turn the front wheels of your Porsche Boxster fully to the left. Start by unscrewing and removing the screws and clips that secure the inner fender on the right side, then move the fender itself. This will give you access to the cables that operate the hood. At this point, gently pull these cables towards you. Once you complete this step, you will have successfully opened the hood of your Porsche Boxster, even with the car's battery dead.
