How to replace the rear shock absorbers of a Renault Modus

In this demonstrative video, we see how to replace the rear shock absorbers of a Renault Modus. We see that access to the top of the strut is very easy thanks to the door that we can find inside the trunk; we will need a 16 mm socket wrench. We remove the wheel and then remove the protective cover of the bottom part of the shock absorber; we support the car with a hydraulic jack and then lubricate the sealing screw, which we will remove with an electric drill and an 18 mm socket. We remove the old shock absorber and replace it with the new one, initially tightening the bolts less. We put the wheel back in place and lower the car. We tighten the lower bolt with a torque wrench to 10.5 Nm; we close the protective cover and tighten the upper bolt to 2.1 Nm. We close the trunk lid and move on to the other wheel.

How to Remove the Spark Plugs on a Subaru Forester

In this video, learn how to remove the spark plugs on a Subaru Forester. Pull the lever to open the engine compartment and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the cylinder head, the air filter kit (if necessary), then disconnect the coils by hand, unscrew the spark plugs with your socket wrench, and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them with the extension of the socket wrench into the cylinder head, tighten them properly, secure the ignition coils, refit the previously removed panel and the air filter kit. Close the engine bonnet.
