How to repair the window lifter of a Renault Clio MK2 or a 2002 Citroen C3

In this video we see how to repair the window regulator of a Renault Clio MK2; the system also works for the Citroen C3 from the same period. To remove the panel, we must start with the small triangle that covers the contacts of the electric mirror; then we remove the cover of the door, which is all snap-on, then there are four screws under the panel, the screw of the internal lock, and a screw under a plug inside the compartment where the electric window control is located. From here we will also remove the electrical contacts. Remember that on this model there are no clips, but adhesive, so we will have to pull hard. We remove the three nuts that hold the motor (which is working, but the window does not go up or down), and then we also remove the electrical plug. Now we remove the bolts that secure the guide at the bottom. In the meantime, we have secured the window with tape so that it does not fall. By removing the window regulator, we saw that at the bottom of the door we found a broken piece of plastic. In fact, examining the device, we found that the pin used to raise and lower the window had broken in two. It is a replacement that does not exist, we would have had to change the entire mechanism, so the youtuber decided to replace the pin with a rubber gasket from glass bottles, fixing it with a drop of silicone.
