How to replace the side turn signal bulb on a Renault Laguna.

To replace the side indicator bulb on the Renault Laguna, work with the vehicle turned off, lights deactivated, and the key removed from the ignition. Protect the paint and plastic of the mirror with masking tape and preferably use a plastic lever to minimize the risk of marking the cover or the lens. Locate the indicator integrated into the exterior rearview mirror. To remove the module, apply controlled pressure towards the front of the mirror while simultaneously freeing the opposite side by gently prying at the accessible edge: the goal is to release the fastening tab without bending or cracking the lens. When the piece moves, pull it out just enough to access the wiring and disconnect the connector by pulling on the body of the plug, not the wires. With the module in hand, access the bulb holder at the back. Unlock it by turning it slightly and pull it out from the body of the indicator. At this point, remove the bulb from the holder and insert the new one of the same type, being careful not to force the connection. Before reassembling everything, check that the bulb is properly seated and that the contacts are not oxidized. Reinsert the bulb holder into the module and return it to the locked position. Reconnect the electrical connector, then reposition the indicator in the mirror starting from the driver's side and guiding the piece until it is flush. Press evenly until you hear it click into place and check that there are no gaps remaining. Finally, activate the four turn signals or the indicator to confirm proper operation and that the module is securely in place.
