How to Change the Engine Air Filter on a Renault Clio

To replace the engine air filter on a third generation Renault Clio, open the bonnet and locate the filter box, usually positioned at the top of the engine bay and connected to the intake duct. After releasing the clips or unscrewing the screws of the cover, depending on the engine type, remove the cover of the filter box. Then extract the worn filter element and clean the inside of the housing, removing any dust and dirt residues. Next, insert the new filter in the correct position, ensuring the seal adheres perfectly to the seat. Finally, close the filter box, reattach the clips or tighten the screws, and check that the intake duct is correctly connected.
