How to Change the Engine Air Filter on a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013

To change the engine air filter on a third-generation Renault Clio, switch off the engine, open the bonnet, and locate the air filter box connected to the intake duct. Depending on the engine type, you may need to free the intake hose or move some components obstructing access. Loosen the screws or fastening devices of the airbox cover and lift it. Remove the old filter element and clean the inside of the housing, removing dust, leaves, and other debris to prevent them from entering the duct. Insert the new filter in the same position as the previous one, ensuring the edge is properly seated all around. Reposition the cover, tighten the fastenings, and reconnect any ducts that were previously removed. Finally, check that the box is perfectly closed.
